Not a pedalpcb build but it was the last project I had until my new pedal pcb’s show up. I’ve made this same pedal on stripboard but wanted a pcb version of it. It’s a beast. Not sure why but my stripboard version sounds a tad bit more aggressive than this one.

I’ve never received a bad board or instructions from pedalpcb. Over 20 builds in and all have worked perfectly.

Finally built a klone. I’ve been meaning to for a long time but kept getting distracted with other pedals. I do see what the allure is. Definitely it’s own style

Can you link to what dc jack you are using. You may have it wired wrong. I don’t have a really clear shot of the terminals in the pic but it almost looks wrong to me. The positive lead looks like it may be on the wrong terminal.

Where did you get the tl072’a

For starters, can you clean your board really well with some isopropyl alcohol so we can get a good look at the solder joints. Also if you could provide a snap shot of the underside of the board as well. Another question I have is did you make sure your input and output jacks are not touching...

Finally got some enclosures finished so I can get some work done. I built this with the mods suggested in this forum. Haven’t had much time to fool with it much but it definitely has a lot of boost on tap.

I think it’s your DC jack. The metal jacks only work if they are isolated from the enclosure. Plastic jack should fix the problem
