As Above, So Below. Deflectors at Full

I really like the Coca-cola vibes on this build. Have you built any of the other PPCB FV-1 reverbs?

    Mini Heterodyne Receiver

Somehow, I convinced myself that the pedalboard-friendly version of this would actually be more practical. I’m here to tell you that there is nothing practical about this pedal. Just when I think I’ve dialed in a nice malfunctioning arcade machine tone, it decides to contact the mothership. I...

    Lead Solder Overdrive

It screams. Definitely earned its velcro. Whether or not it sounds exactly like a SLO-100, I couldn't tell you. But if you're into the cranked metal amp thing, you'll probably like it.

    Lead Solder Overdrive

I drill my own, and I always end up doing this when I'm deburring. For the enclosure screws, I run a 6/32 tap to clean out the threads and I scrape the countersunk portion of the lid with an x-acto knife so that the screws sit flush and make good contact.

Stone Age Distortion (With messy breadboard + mods!)

I haven't seen any other build reports on this one yet. I snapped this up when it dropped, but I was only recently able to start working on it. I ended up breadboarding this one before I populated the board, and I'm glad I did. I was disappointed with the stock sound. Very compressed and very...

SOLVED Cepheid Chorus no effect (TB and LEDs working)

Save the 3102 and build the Caesar next!

    Lead Solder Overdrive

Alright, so I fired up the hot snot dispenser and relocated the wires per Robert’s suggestion, and I can confirm that the pedal no longer oscillates. Shielded wires might not be a bad idea here.

    Lead Solder Overdrive

Interesting. When I get home I’ll route the wires elsewhere, maybe under the board, and see if it fixes that. It’s not a problem at all unless the mid pot is fully dimed. I only routed the wire like that because I cut it off the spool a little too short, and didn’t feel like taking 10 seconds to...

    Lead Solder Overdrive

I haven't seen anyone else post a build report of this one yet. I finished it a few days ago and I've had a little time to play around with it. First, the good. The circuit is dead quiet- nice job with the layout, it was well worth the wait. There is a ton of usable gain on tap. I'm going to...

SOLVED Previously working Spatialist no longer reverbing

SOLVED Previously working Spatialist no longer reverbing

So when I yanked the power, I still had sound. Swapped out the footswitch and now it's working. Thanks. That was a nicer switch too, one of the black "pro" ones that SBP sells. I swapped in an el cheapo blue Daier switch, we'll see how it holds up.

SOLVED Previously working Spatialist no longer reverbing

This pedal was built back in October and has had a permanent place on my board since. I don’t move it or disconnect it other than the main board power. Worked flawlessly from day 1, but suddenly I have no wet signal. LED still lights up, and signal passes unaltered whether the pedal is on or...

    Muffin Fuzz (bigger muff build)

I was iffy about buying a few of those enclosures. I didn't know how well black ink would contrast with the glow effect, but it looks great. Is that UV printed, or something you did at home?

    DEMO Kewpie Fuzz

I love the white on white. Nice demo, too. Every demo I've heard sounds like a juicy op-amp muff with extra options, and this one's been on my wish list since it dropped.

I keep mine in a notebook. I'll tape a few to a sheet and write the results next to them.

SOLVED Cepheid Chorus no effect (TB and LEDs working)

Cabintech has a new-production 3101 replacement. I don't know about their availability in Europe. https://cabintechglobal.com/ct3101

SOLVED Cepheid Chorus no effect (TB and LEDs working)

I'm not sure the V3102 and the MN3007 will work together. I could be wrong. I used a V3102/v3207 in mine.

SOLVED Cepheid Chorus no effect (TB and LEDs working)

These are the pads for your board power. Are these joints touching each other?
