    Noir-Boss DM-2 Blackhat edition

Great build all around! This is some high praise for an analog delay. Impressive work with the layout, @blackhatboojum. Is this a two- or four-layer board?

    SOLVED Creamery hi expansion issues

Neither of those schemes will work. Remove the wire from the breakout IN pad (the one going to the main circuit) and tie it to the far left pad (i.e., the input jack connection).

    SOLVED Creamery hi expansion issues

That's not uncommon for true bypass compressors. With the level high in bypass, the input signal is essentially negative infinity, the change of state is then amplified (whether that's AC, DC, or mechanical interference). I haven't looked at the schem to confirm that the impedance checks out...

    Lead Solder Buzz

It’s part of the RC network making an active high pass filter. Similar to what’s going on with a RAT. EDIT: it strikes me as odd that that would cause oscillation. You’re filtering out low frequencies (Fc=23Hz) and proving a path to ground for DC voltage so it’s not amplified.

    Lead Solder Buzz

@jimilee did you put a wire or a cap between pins 1 and 2? I thought you had meant a wire—which would essentially turn that stage into a non-inverting voltage follower (i.e., a buffer).

Does the GAIN control work with those pins jumped? If I’m following correctly, you’ve turned the gain control into a unity gain buffer.

Oh interesting. So the designated failure point is different than a “vent?”

    Vented Capacitor

Unless this is something I’m not aware of, all new production, higher-capacity electrolytic caps should be “vented.” Take a look at any 10uF+ cap in your stock. It should look like it has a “+” scored into the top. How old is the PSU?

    Buffer with dual outs questions

https://www.muzique.com/lab/splitter.htm Or you could do an op amp buffer followed by unity gain non-inverting op amp stages for each separate out.
