spent a lot of time on the artwork, what do you guys think?

Sexy little resistors: AionFX Aphelion (MXR Distortion+)

looks awesome, as other said the honeycomb is a great touch. also matching the DC jack to the knobs!

    Projectile!

ah, I believe that. it's a "wooly" pedal (in the best way, in my opinion), so I can see it not cleaning up the same if more gain is inject. well this is just a great idea. if I recall it's four J201s each! I didn't measure or match the ones in mine but it sounds great (most JFET pedals). that...

love what you said about modded top 5's. it's a great way to share why you made mods and how that changed how much you love it. i don't have a good example of that, except maybe setting up the adjustable clock in the hydra (though i don't think i have it on any radical setting, maybe a tad...

    Projectile!

looks great! it's a great sounding pedal, one of the first i built because i loved the walrus audio one so much. then they came out with v2! need to figure out what's different...

lots of different things at play here, mostly comes down to one's priorities. for me, i'm not a good guitar player and don't play in a band, but i have done some home recording; having a wide range of dirt boxes available for someone i'm recording has been a massive driving force for me...

ah, I was wondering about those switches. what an unusual chip!

Median Compressor PCB - Available Now!

this is super helpful! differentiating use cases is really important and makes a lot of sense to me. same regarding caps in the signal path. a couple pedals I've made have been noisier than I'd like, so having some ideas around that is great.

    Roboto, with a cavaet

I lied, I went and destroyed the 1P8T removing it so I could swap in the 2P4T. BUT now all the modes work correctly. It's a cool pedal but @Cybercow your version is way more useful!

Median Compressor PCB - Available Now!

ah, so maybe the OPA2134? I've used that in a couple pedals but I don't have ton on hand since they're like 6 bucks a pop. I literally just this morning started thinking about paying better attention to component quality. Upgrading the opamps from the BoM was one idea, so this is very top of...

nice job! debugging is such a slog sometimes.

this is so awesome!! I'm extremely inspired. going to study this and see all the mods you added. I love death by audio's circuits, so expanding on them is really cool to me. It worked fine so I'm not going to desolder, but it was a silly mistake!

The Elysium was my first delay build, that chip sounds beautiful. Liquid glass. I finished the Hydra last week and love it too though, probably a little more. But the Elysium is so, so, so pretty.

    Roboto, with a cavaet

First of all, this is a really cool and unique pedal! I love all three DBA pedals I've built (please trace more @Robert!), and this one is no exception. Here's the catch; I used a 1P8T toggle switch instead of a 2P4T. It works, and sounds awesome. I haven't tested it extensively and won't be...

Last builds: Deadend FX & PedalPCB

hang in there, I recently went back and fixed the LEDs in a few of my first ones that didn't work (for numerous reasons) and I was amazed at how far I've come in every way. my 2nd pedal I wired the pots backwards; going back later and fixing it was a big confidence booster.

I love the art!!! they all look awesome. I haven't tried any of their boards, well done working with them to engineer a new PCB!

    How to attach FV-1

a heat gun would work I think, then pick it up with tweezers. at least that's what I see the kids doing in the YouTube shorts. I'm quickly approaching the day when I begin soldering surface mount components, and I'm nervous as hell. that being said I did solder transformers in the wrong...

    War Scythe - incredibly noisy

marking this as solved because I think I generally underappreciate that pedals aren't generally completely dimed out, and a mega gain double pedal set to 10 is going to amplify some noise. usually I start from all knobs at 10 when I'm testing but I think it's time to come up with a better QA...

XC Phase - where to get matched quad 2N5952 JFETs?

i forgot about that!!! i remember seeing it at the time and vaguely looking something up that a tl072 was fine, but i'll order some and check it out, thank you! definitely not singling out lectric-fx, i soldered component leads to the adapter boards and it just looks janky af. i think it's just...
