    TPA3118 60W Power Amp Module

Thank you. That, and other high gain circuit in that thread, seems sound a bit rude, as if it needs a cabinet simulator. Do you find your build sounds like in the demo?

    TPA3118 60W Power Amp Module

At 12v you should get more clear and less gainy sound, more "headroom". But with just 3v maybe you can't hear difference. I seen before the Modern Rock Machine schematic, it looks very interesting. I never tried it, and I never found any demo, but I'm curious to hear it. Could you let us listen...

Guvenator - More Cowbell! No, I mean more Bass

If you need just a little mod you could increase C6, 1uF for example, to get more low end. If you want still a little more even C4. You could try a 220nF for C3, too, as phi1 said, but this will move the boost peak on lower frequency, could be ok for you, but I guess it change a bit the effect...

    Jack Orman's Pickup Simulator / Anti-Buffer...

I tried the circuit between a Fuzz Face DIY and a buffer DIY. First of all, it does what it has to do. And pots and switches works. Maybe the switch to half the coil of the transformer does just a little difference, just a bit darker, but that could be even this fuzz. I can't hear a lot of...

    Jack Orman's Pickup Simulator / Anti-Buffer...

Ok, the switch (and maybe the also the pot, I guess?) changes the impedance. I still have to try it with a Fuzz Face, maybe I can hear some difference in the sound. I assume that changes something in the sound, too. Else, what does it mean? I hope to clear it out this week. :)

    Jack Orman's Pickup Simulator / Anti-Buffer...

Hello. Without open a new thread I want to ask here something about this Jack Orman project. I built a version with the updated schematic, the one with Volume and Tone control, with no issue, and my built include even the early version. This: I testing it, without any other pedal. But switch...

1590B & Top Jacks: It Can Be Done

I did it, too, a few months ago. :) It wasn't easy at all, because a three pots line close the upper side. But I did it.

    That4305 issues

I received the third 4305 module, and this time seemed work. I'm not sure if the pedal worked so fine like the first Muzzle with 4301 chip. I tested it with different gear, but I wasn't so impressed like with the first pedal.

    volume attenuator recommendation

I guess a potentiometer in the loop effect is an easy solution without mod your amp.

Stone Age Distortion What's with R8 and R9?

I noticed that weirdness, too, just yesterday.

Boss DS-1 (MIJ) build - transistor boost config vs selecting transistors?

What's your schematic? About the thicker sound (A LOT?) and removing the JFET switching, I see some adjustment of the coupling cap, to keep the same low end. Maybe that's the thing.

    SOLVED Aion DZ-4 whistle/oscillation

You could try shielded wire, for input and output. I can't say if it will solve that problem, but you could try. I heard about oscillation issue with this pedal a lot of time, not this PCB in particular, but maybe PedalPCB, too, and also veroboard and protoboard. You could even try to use a...

    THAT4301 Substitute?

I got issue with two of them, when I replace the original THAT4301. In a Muzzle PCB. :(

Try pedals by home (kind of like Thomann)

My friend is better equipped than me: sound-card/interface, amp modeling software... I have just my pc with the input mic. I used to connect my pedal through the old Behringer V-Amp (kind of old red Line 6 POD), to make the amp and cabinet emulator. I don't know if I can make the thing. In case...

Try pedals by home (kind of like Thomann)

Hello, a friend of mine asked to me to try my pedals from his home. (A bit like Thomann). He lives a bit far away from my home and he can't come to me every time. Does someone know a method how he can play his guitar at home with the pedals in my home through our computers? It's ok if I have to...

    Ionizer2 Fuzz

I just built on stripboard the version without the Oscillation control in an 1590A box. After I put the everything into the box, I got a loud oscillation noise that change pitch turning the Intensity control, but even the volume of the guitar. It was causes by the tip of the input plug, it...

    Jack Orman's Pickup Simulator / Anti-Buffer...

If I remember well, the inductance of the part that looks like resistors and capacitors are too small. I know just this kind of transformer have the characteristic that can "emulate" pickup. I include this, too. It can help to go close to the pickups specific. Generically, the inductance is a...

    Jack Orman's Pickup Simulator / Anti-Buffer...

I bought that transformer, but I still didn't built the pickup simulator. I have to say I afraid about the frequency range, too. And, because another kind of project, I'm finding other transformers, just a bit more expensive with wider frequency range, like: 60Hz - 25kHz or 20Hz - 20kHz. Do you...
