    REQUEST PedalPCB 4 Tap DC Converter/Isolator 1590A

Just received one drilled at a 21 mm spacing ... it's still not perfect, they are a bit too close now. Maybe a 21.5mm spacing would place them in the right spot. Just letting you know if you did not made an order yet.

    Pink Alpaca (ample alpaca)

I had that board populated and laying around on my bench for a few months, did not seem to find the time to build lately. Last winter, I won a Stompbox Parts gift card generously. I picked a pink 1590B enclosure and thought it would be perfect for a pink alpaca. The build went really well...

    REQUEST PedalPCB 4 Tap DC Converter/Isolator 1590A

I have a 24V 6A power brick and am tempted to build a bigger power supply based on the old Anasounds files... https://anasounds.com/produit/fx-power-source-8x-9v-2x-12v-and-2x-18v-full-kit/

And that's fitted with the following, as suggested by M. PedalPCB himself, I may have added a washer so it's snug. 5mm Male standoff paired with a 20mm Female standoff

    REQUEST PedalPCB 4 Tap DC Converter/Isolator 1590A

Looking back at it with fresh eyes this morning... 1mm too far apart. That one was drilled at 22mm distance and I already adjusted my drill template to 21mm but have not tested it yet... holes could be a little smaller if I was certain about the placement. Anyway, here it is ...

    REQUEST PedalPCB 4 Tap DC Converter/Isolator 1590A

I had one but the spacing was not perfect... like maybe missing 1mm between holes. It's working though.

What's the meter your are using, I ordered a board a few weeks ago but was not fast enough to get the full kit. I figured with the drill template I'll be able to make it work, but will it fit without the faceplate ?

    SOLVED Lowballer, is it normal

Well, I've rewired it using shielded wires and it made no noticeable difference from my initial wiring. I put a brand new IC from mouser and it made it a little better. I'll call it quits, that must be how the circuit is supposed to sound. Maybe someday I'll recheck the pot wiring, but I doubt...

    Shielded wire

I had found some on amazon that were 12in each. I found them a little brittle but to make connectors that could work. There was no choice of colors.

    SOLVED Lowballer, is it normal

@djmisaid this : It's exactly the sound the pedal make in clean mode. It makes what it supposed to, plus that sound. It's there in disto mode, but les noticeable.

    SOLVED Lowballer, is it normal

Thanks Wiring was as you described at first, but I noticed they were sensible to touch, so I tried twisting them together, and that was really bad. I put those back to confirm it returned to my starting state. I could try a C1K, I think I might have one, but yes, could be the wiring of the...

    SOLVED Lowballer, is it normal

Yes, ins and outs are not resoldered yet. Here is the board. It was one of my first builds, so I did not care that much to put all resistors the same way. Pots under the board have covers on them Cap values General layout

    SOLVED Lowballer, is it normal

Well, turns out the squealing was my fault, when I redid the wiring, I twisted the in/out wires together and that's my new problem. Should I go with shielded wires or just routing them correctly should be enough. Still got that initial high wind sound though.

    SOLVED Lowballer, is it normal

I'm mostly positive that the LM1458 thats causing the noise. If I remove it and jumper the signal she sound perfect. Another thing I noticed, if I unplug the input in distortion mode while having the treble too high, it will squeal... it can also happen while playing. Do I have a bad IC or is...

    SOLVED Lowballer, is it normal

Hi guys, one of my first builds was the lowballer, I always thought it was a noisy pedal, it making a sound like some high wind. The treble control introduces that sound, it gets annoying (to me) around noon. I tried reflowing everything, still sounds the same. After reflowing, I noticed the...
