In the original BBD Tester PCB, RV1 is 10K. While the 100K you have slated for RV1 should work, the sweet spot for biasing the clock chip will be extremely narrow and may be difficult to nail. In any case, the schematic in the OP is now fully updated.

I was able to make the changes to the Silkscreen layer (to mimic the FFab layer text) and exported the Gerbers. Looks right now. But holy shit! JLCPCB fabrication cost for 5 is only about 7 bux, but they want $70+ for shipping on their cheapest option. I went with OSHPark at $36 for 3 boards...

It looks like much of the intended silkscreen text is trapped in the FFab layer. All the text in the FFab layer does not show up in the Gerber view when submitted.

Ha! I just sorted out that the zip files in the back up folder are archives of your progress. I just zipped up all the .gbr files from the main folder and submitted that. When it loads on JLCPCB, there is no silkscreen and the drills seem to be missing. Really wish I knew PCB design software better.

IME, clipping elements (diodes, transistors, etc) with manually matched forward voltage drops make little difference from simply matching the part numbers. While test equipment can measure minute differences, the difference will never be audibly noticalble. Such is the nature of dirt circuits...

That's actually how simple the instructions are. Of course you can set it back more than one tooth (or more) to taste. It's a trial & error thing.

What version of SpinCAD are you using? I have versions 1032 through 1042 and all of them have the "Noise AMZ" block/module under the 'Wave Shaper' dropdown. You can get the latest version of SpinCAD here.

The link still takes you to the WeTransfer site, but they don't keep files for very long unless you use their pay portal and pony up for the extended file retention service. Also, I see you've used the "Single Delay" block. What version of SpinCAD are you using? I have SpinCAD versions 1032...

You need to either delete the block/module and replace it or make different connection.

A BS170 is the same as a 2N7000, a MOSFET but with reversed pinouts. In this application, the MOSFET is not directly in the signal path and should not be injecting any distortion. Here, the MOSFET is acting as a variable resistor to bleed the signal to ground as determined by the waveform...

There's a difference between how a JFET and MOSFET operates and in this instance the MOSFET is NOT being employed as a simple switch. Rather, it's set up as more of a variable resistor than a switch. What about the existing configuration leaves you unsatisfied?
