My guess is: The unobtainium / expense of the Life pedal brings new builders here. It’s how I found this place and it was my second build after a BYOC Crown Jewel. But back on topic: Fig, I’m interested to see this build. It’s my favorite ppcb pedal so far.

I finally checked mine. Probably not helpful, but it’s a data point. It’s quiet for all combinations of foot switches. If I crank up the octave and step on the switch, I don’t hear a jump in the noise floor. I used an OP07 and matched D9K diodes in the octave.

Adding a pot does not provide boost. You need a boost circuit. Reading the Snouse information, there is a pre-gain boost circuit that is selected ON/OFF with an internal dip switch and then controlled with the boost knob.

Nice builds (y) What LDR’s did you use and why did you bend and wrap the second set? Delegate is on my list so I’ve been reading up on the completed builds for any tips.

I found this chart and propose: Argument side A: A Rat will do all of these to some extent vs Argument side B: You need between 1-3 pedals per box to get "that sound". So approximately 24-72 pedals.

Seems right to me. Just make sure you put all 4 parts of each "group" on the same side of the switch.
