SOLVED Madbean Current Lover no signal

So I was curious about c14 and r21 since the modulation signal seemed to stop there. I swapped out c14 and took r21 out entirely. The LED issue somehow was fixed with r21 not in the circuit, but I still wasn't getting any signal from one side of c14. I took that leg out of the PCB and got signal...

SOLVED Madbean Current Lover no signal

Yea I believe it's calibrated as it should be. I can hear it doing all the modulating on the resistors in the modulation section, and then the signal stops once I get to r21. I just tested the voltages and a few of the chips are off, so here are the readings: IC2 Pin 2 and 6 go back and forth...

SOLVED Madbean Current Lover no signal

Hey all, I know this isn't a PPCB build but I also know a fair amount of people here have put this one together, so fingers crossed we can get it working. I just finished up this build and am not getting any signal out of it when the pedal is engaged. The LED stays on all the time, and gets...

    Enclosure Drilling

Yea that's the one I got, just the 8 inch 5 speed one. It's rad, compact enough to keep in my office when I'm not using it and then I can take it out to my workspace outside when doing the drilling.

    Enclosure Drilling

I recently got that drill press from harbor freight and it is awesome. Definitely a huge improvement from my handheld drill.

Vibrobot - no difference between Sine and Triangle?

Yea I'd agree about them sounding similar. There's like, a verrrry slight difference at the onset/offset of the LFO between the Triangle and Sine, but they're pretty close to one another. Try cranking the depth, that should make it at least somewhat easier to hear the differences between the two

    Lectric FC Dandy Horse help

Hey all, I am humbly coming to you again with issues I'm running into on my second Dandy Horse build (honestly I need to just stop building these things). Basically it seems to be working in the sense that I'm getting some modulation out of it and the modes are "functioning" enough to know...

    DEMO Vibrobot Tremolo

Thank you!! Yea I'm a pretty big fan of that clean trem setting, it's hard to turn it off.

    DEMO Vibrobot Tremolo

I just use good ol' fashioned Mod Podge. Put a thin layer on the backside of the fabric and a layer on the enclosure itself and then smash em together. Sometimes I'll add another layer on the outside of the fabric if it really needs it/the fabric won't show it too much, but generally that isn't...

    DEMO Vibrobot Tremolo

Hey all! Just finished this up the other day. Overall it was a pretty straightforward, no fuss build that was lots of fun to put together. I lifted pin 6, as per the build doc suggestions, and this thing fired up no problem. My fabric wrapping journey continues; this one came together pretty...

Power Supply recommendations? (Anything inexpensive and reliable?)

Honestly yes. Maybe it doesn't have to be one of those brands specifically, but I think with power supplies it really is worth it to buy something that is a higher quality and to not try to cut corners budget wise. I use CIOKS to power all my stuff and have never had any issues (both with the...

    Duo-phase

Ooooo I love that graphic!! It goes really nicely with the overall vibe of the pedal, especially with two slow rates combining.

DEMO Frantone Creampuff (vero) & Fornicus OD

Yea, it's fairly easy to put together and is a really great-sounding overdrive that can get all kinds of nasty if you want it to. I've found that the trim pot really works best when it's all the way open (fully clockwise), so I'm probably just going to jumper it internally if I build one again...

DEMO Frantone Creampuff (vero) & Fornicus OD

Thanks! Yea, I've considered putting labels on them but honestly I just love the way a non-labeled pedal looks. With fabric too I think it could get a little cheap looking if I'm writing a label on with marker, or adhereing something else to it. I think if I were to start doing builds that...

    DEMO Duo-phase (Nautilus Lullabies)

Thanks! Yea, I've been having a lot of fun going out and trying to find fabrics that I think would be a good match for specific pedals.

    DEMO Duo-phase (Nautilus Lullabies)

Thanks! I've found that making demos is a good reminder that playing guitar is also a fun part of the whole pedal building process 😅 It all but cleared out my stash of 072s, so I'll have to add some to my next pink bag order as well. Stoked to see your build report on it!

Deadendfx Amnesia // SSBS No Memory

Wow, this is an killer build! Incredible work. I'm usually either put off by or overly scared of Deadend FX builds, but this one actually seems relatively straightforward in terms of the layout and all that. Or at the very least your build is so clean that this one seems achievable. Definitely...
