Bit Soldier - Bit Commander Clone

That's not a bad idea. Getting the pots to fit right with the holes slightly higher was a chore all in and itself. But i like to have my LED's to the side of the footswitch which is why i haven't used their drilling service yet

Bit Soldier - Bit Commander Clone

Just boxed this one up. Worked first time I plugged it in, which Is always a relief. Its slow, but I continue to follow the step by step guide posted on the forums. So far, it’s been money. I did mess up a few things that always seem to bother me more than the success of getting the circuit to...

    Caesar Build

After experimenting with the trim pot on this and seeing how those work, It makes me think that my first dud of a pedal wasn't actually a dud but needed a trim pot adjusted, Too bad I took it apart and eventually had to scrap it after damaging several pads.

    Caesar Build

The schematics always seem to call for way less parts than are on a PCB> I can't make heads or tails of it. Someday, I'm going to need to buckle down and just learn how to read them. But that's the less fun part.

    Caesar Build

Hey thanks. As far as quick study goes, I'm not sure. I feel like I've just taken Lego building to new heights. I can follow directions pretty good but I can't read a schematic to save my life.

    Caesar Build

The Julia is the pedal that made me want to get into pedal building. After getting a few other builds under my belt I tackled this one. I went painstakingly slow populating the board. And it was worit as it worked the first time I plugged it in. I was stoked until I realized i had put red LEDs...

    Spin F.V-1 question

I see that the fv1 ic is out of stock. I know that they are available other places, but prefer to buy here so that I can get the presoldered option. Is there's any word on when they should become availabld

Ca-ca-ca-catch the wave! Max Headroom Meridian (Aion FX)

The knobs on both pedals are amazing. I really like the premium aluminum knobs. I know they’re more than double the price of others but it just adds something more to the pedals imo.

    Low Tide

Speaking of elusive chips, are they always this elusive or is it just in tandom with all the other electronics that are currently also elusive, ie graphics cards/ps5s?

    Assembling Parts Lists?

I'm stealing that book idea. I ordered parts for 3 pedals to begin. I don't know that its efficient, but i created an excel work sheet with columns for each part, then went through the lists of each pcb. then ordered from that. I don't know how effective it is, because i ended up missing a...

That's an instant order for me

    Double Armentum Boosts

So far, outboard wiring has been my least favorite part of all this. I test them before putting in the enclosure, and then have to undo the DC jack and redo it. I need to find a better way. Cause currently I'm losing a lot of time to the part that feels like it should be the easiest

    Double Armentum Boosts

Thanks. I just got a bag of the 5089s. Originally, I went to order them and only the 5088 were available. So I was glad to have them for these

    Double Armentum Boosts

I built two of these, one for a friend and one for me. Art direction was really different as he wanted something biblical and that's pretty far outside my wheelhouse. Was definitely interesting doing multiple consults and revisions. The 3BG boost comes from my love of the Office and one of...

First Successful Build - Chiron's Pupil (AKA Klon Mini)

I'm doing a couple of Amentum boosts. One for me and one for a friend. He asked me to build a treble boost and seeing that he was willing to pay for it, I figured I could make one for myself too.

First Successful Build - Chiron's Pupil (AKA Klon Mini)

Hey, thanks. For a minute, i was worried i was just going to have a bunch of decorated boxes. I may have been over zealous in my art designs cause i already have 4 enclosures finished and drilled, just waiting for me to put them together. `

First Successful Build - Chiron's Pupil (AKA Klon Mini)

After a disappointing first build in which I still don't know what went wrong, I moved onto the second PCB; a Kliche Klon Mini. I pulled up the step by step guide on one monitor, a schematic on another, and a few gut shot pictures from other people's builds. Happy to say that it worked the...

    First Build, No sound

thanks for the replies everyone. It was one of those scenarios where I felt good going in with my preparedness and then slid to me fumbling by the end. I bought a higher end soldering iron, watched dozens of videos about soldering and had all the knowledge. but as you guys know, there's no real...

    First Build, No sound

This is my first build and things started smoothly, but went south as i began soldering potentiometers and outboard wiring. This is the corduroy fuzz. Currently My led works, and i can get a clean signal from my guitar to my amp. However, when I turn it on, and the led comes on, the sound...
