    Pharmacist overdrive

I’m particularly proud of the paint/decal on this one. Took me forever to get it right Went with a scarab because it’s a a Beatles pedal (or so I read) I love gorva enclosures but they’re a really tight fit. Yet another dirt pedal for my ever growing collection. This was a fun build

    PedalPCB Pharmacist Overdrive

this post helped me trouble shoot an issue with mine. Had wired the jacks backwards. Fixed the issue immediately and then it made me realize I had two othe pedals in the troubleshoot pile that had the same issue and sure enough I got my shallow water up and running… I was so confident I had it...

    Boneyard Delegate Compressor

I did that part of the board so long ago that I can’t quite remember. I do remember being confused at to which one as the guide said ldr but didn’t specify. And tayda only had two different ones. This is probably something I should know, but I haven’t quite graduated past the ‘follow the ikea...

    Boneyard Delegate Compressor

They’re super easy. Just kind of start dropping different colors until you have it the way you want. If it gets too dark, drop white in and add more color in. Once it’s the way you want, then do a clear coat. I did my broadcast like this as well.

    Boneyard Delegate Compressor

Seems like I always end up building pedals in spurts. 3rd one in the last two days. I’ve been motivated to finish filling out my board. This one was a Boneyard Delegate. I couldn’t ignore my need for a compressor on my board, so I went ahead and and dug the pcb our from the bottom of my ever...

    Do-Re-Mi-🛋-La-Ti-Do

I know theres so much more going on here than i can process, but having just done my first 2 board pedal, I'm looking at your offboard wiring in utter amazement.

    Blue Brothers

These look amazing. I love how you made the enclosures.

    Marigold Fuzz

I definitely messed up the Jack drilling, and since it was the last thing I was doing, and didn’t want to trash the enclosure, I just went with it. Works. And sounds good. But I shouldn’t have tried to eyeball it and should have taped the grill guide in before doing my center punch for the...

    Marigold Fuzz

I ordered a bunch of random Germanium transistors a while back. I really just started trying them all out til I found one I liked best. Had to go back and check. I used a a MN/MP35

    Marigold Fuzz

I’ve had this board mostly finished for a while and finally decided to do all the offboard wiring (my least favorite part of pedal building) Im glad I finally finished it. This fuzz is probably not going to leave my board. So many times, I’ll build pedals and they end up sitting around for a...

Pharmacist Overdrive: Red pill...or blue pill?

thank you. that makes too much sense. i was just starting at the numbers and then not seeing a schematic, and kind of hit a brain lock.

Pharmacist Overdrive: Red pill...or blue pill?

Question on this build. I'm looking at the board and seeing resistor values such as 57k6 and 348k. What did you use for those, or where did you find those particular resistors.

    Spatialist Reverb with yuletide cheer

Wow. It looks great. I see all these examples of pristine offboard wiring and get so jealous. I seem to be getting better at all aspects of pedal building except that. Reminds me of being in grade school and no matter what I did, I couldn’t make my handwriting neat

    Lifted oad

I don’t see a trace going to the pin on either side of the board. And one side still has the trace. Figured I might be ok. But without the schematic, I thought I’d check.

    Lifted oad

So, after soldering my 16 pin socket. I discovered that I ordered the smd ones by mistake and had to remove it. The being said, I lifted a pad. Trying to determine best way to fix it. Or if i even need to. One side has a pad. I don’t see a trace going to the pin. But I don’t want to finish...

    Bloodcast (Duocast)

As much as I love the gorva enclosures, the lost space can make them a pain in the ass for the off board wiring. So neatness went out the window and I was pleasantly surprised (shocked) when this one worked the first time. I did the art by taping off the middle, and then using alcohol inks...

    Paragon

Sometimes a build just goes right from the get go. Everything from planning the art to getting the parts to the off board wiring went smoothly. I went all out on the enclosure/knobs. Figured if any build was going to warrant it, this one did. I can’t get over how much easier doing the no film...

Thanks so much. Got it working.

    Question about Breakout boards

I feel like these are simple questions, but I either my google skills are lacking or the I don't know enough to type what i need to type to find the answers. I had a few of these 3pdt breakout boards from Love my switches. I think they're probably not the same orientation at the ones Pedal PCB...
