Hi all... I was wondering if anyone had any tip on beginning using stripboard/vero board for someone who has never used it before. What do you use to cut sections of board to size? What about making breaks in the traces? Personally I just ordered a few of these from Tayda to try my hand at it...

Update: the octave is weak on all settings and the sine wave is persistent.

I have a similar issue, although it sounds intermittent. I hear a high pitched sine wave though.

I just stumbled on this thread looking for a clone of the EQD Monarch. (Really, I just want to build an Orange amp in a pedal.) What's the likelihood of this turning into a PCB? I have no idea what this "Vero" is. I'll go back to my corner now and suck on my lollipop.

The question is, will there be enough material there to have a good mechanical connection? And then, will there be enough space for the board to fit in the enclosure?
