    Dustbowl Distortion Tone Pot Mod

    You could solder a 10k resistor across lugs 1 and 3 and you've got a 5k pot.

All the time unless it's a double pedal.

    Baxendall calculator?

Just wondering if there's anything out there like the Duncan tone stack but for 3 band baxendall stacks? I'm trying to fine tune a tone stack or two but can't fathom the formulae to work out the frequencies being affected. Anyone know of anything? Online or otherwise.

What else is on the breadboard? - The Mona Lisa Simpson OD

In your schematic yeah, but occasionally I see a resistor and cap in parallel in the signal path, say between op amp stages too.

What else is on the breadboard? - The Mona Lisa Simpson OD

Hey man, why is there sometimes a cap and a resistor in parallel in a signal path. Is that some kind of filtering arrangement? I see there's one there on the 9v line too.

    Tayda finally did it...

Weird, I was just reading on reddit how someone got a delivery of someone else's stuff because tayda got the shipping labels mixed up.

MODIFICATION Teaser: I've got a Circulator mod in the works

Hey Chuck have you ever played with the Causality phaser? You might enjoy it. https://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=80456.0

    Voltage swing. Dying electrolytics?

Yeah I was confused too, figured id selected 12v accidentally but nope, just a struggling DMM with some no brand 9v from the factory. Charge pumps are above my pay grade right now anyhow!

    Voltage swing. Dying electrolytics?

One of my own, it turned out the dmm had a dying battery and as soon as I replaced it all was well.

    lenora boost

You need pots that look like this: https://www.taydaelectronics.com/b2k-ohm-linear-taper-potentiometer-round-shaft-pc-mount-l.html And their legs get soldered into the pads at the top left and top right that look like 3 squares. They go in from the other side though so the only thing that will...

    Voltage swing. Dying electrolytics?

Got a pedal here on which the voltage (measured at pin 8 of a dual opamp so should be supply voltage) gradually climbs, taking the vref with it. Upon plugging in it's around 9.4v, then gradually increases until it gets to around 10.8v and seemingly tops out then it fluctuates between...

    small Pots

Tayda sell them. 9mm Alpha pots. I'm not sure if the pins align but you could get versions with lugs and wire them in.

    Wide potentiometer connections?

Just to be clear you'll want these bad boys: https://www.taydaelectronics.com/b100k-ohm-linear-taper-potentiometer-round-shaft-pc-mount-l.html Not these fellas: https://www.taydaelectronics.com/b100k-ohm-linear-taper-potentiometer-round-shaft-pc-mount-4m.html

    Sourcing and Choosing Capacitors

Basically if it's below 1000pf (1nf) you'll want ceramic (I use mlcc), if it's 1.1nf - 1000 nf (1uf) you'll want polyester film that look like little boxes. If it's above 1uf you'll be looking at electrolytics which are the upright cylinders. These are generally polarised meaning current goes...

    The Return of Biggus Dickus

What's the purpose of R2 and C16? Is that a high pass with a value somewhere around 160khz or am I reading something wrong? 22r/47nf.

What about an input cap blend like the Gagan easy face for a 6 knob BD? Use a 10pf and a 10uf with a b10k for maximum enjoyment.
