I'm still playing around with the breadboard and found that I like LEDs instead of the diodes. I took out the 3 asymmetrical diodes and put in 2 LEDs. Sounded better to me. The gain pot worked better because I had more usable gain throughout the sweep of the pot. This things gets distorted...

Good to know... I do like the look of the JMP better.. and it seems everywhere I see these being built, people are using the 78 spec on this version so there's probably a lot more info on it.

Yeah and I am hoping it doesn't have a problem or I'm going to have to learn how to design and have my own PCBs made because I'm really looking forward to completing this one. I just tested both options for Edge and Bottom and they both sound good so I'll be building it with those intact.

I've got one of these in the queue too. It has several switching options to use.

I've got mine working on the breadboard.. We'll soon see if it works when I solder everything together with the PCB. It sounds great so I sure hope it works.

I think I will build one of the Mojotone 2204 kits. Now I just gotta figure out which one.

So if I'm wiring these up with my Protoboard that has Terminal blocks that I screw the Pots into, Do I just connect 3 to ground and 2 to pin 1 of my IC with my jumpers? I actually got it working.. or so I think by leaving 3 disconnected and bringing 2 down to pin 1 of the IC.

I am breadboarding my Odd One Out pedal before I solder the PCB and realized I am not sure how to wire lugs 2 & 3 on the B1M Drive Pot. Do both 2 & 3 go to the same connection or do I just connect one and leave the other disconnected? Also, since this board already has its power conditioned do...
