The Shadow Man delay (Boss DM-3)

There isn't a whole lot of difference between the DM-2 and DM-3. There are a few extra pieces in the delay time/clock section, but most of it is pretty cookie-cutter BBD delay stuff. The original only had a single 3205 in it. Check out this site, there is a lot of good information on the DM-3...

    Rosamp SLO 30 Build

Sounds awesome! I have been giving serious thought to either this or the Hiwatt that they have. I was thinking Hiwatt, but your demo might have brought the SLO back into consideration!

Looking for some MN3101 clone beta testers (CT3101)

I've been wondering when someone would look into making new MN3101 clocks for a while now (as @StompBoxParts can attest to). I'm glad you are working on a solution to this issue! I've even been shying away from developing projects that use that clock due to the lack of legit availability of...

    DEMO Harry Klippton's 1590a builds

Looking good! For things like the Dreamtime and Dust Bunny where Brian supplies the pot mounting board, I recommend using some ribbon wire to help you fold things in.

    I built a veroboard search engine 😅

(Sorry for hijacking the initial thread) Did this end up working for you? I think you might have been really close to having turbo mode with taking a few parts out. I found this on TheGearPage a while back, talking about the DS-2: "Input to Q6, a JFET buffer, splits to Q5 for the bypass...

    Brown enclosure?

Would you be looking for a one-off or a few made up? I have some UPS Brown I could shoot for you. Here is what it looks like on a pedal:

    Schu-Tone Purple Reign

Long time, no build reports. Here is what I just finished up this weekend. This is a continuation of my pedalboard in a 1590DD series. This is the Purple Reign. As you can probably tell, this is inspired by Prince. More specifically, this is inspired by his board that he used around the...

SubSonic (Mini Mach 1 / Lightspeed) - UPDATE 5.28.23: Mini Southland Now Completed!

Looks great! Vero is a different beast to fit in a 1590A with the wires going every which way, but it looks like you did a great job with it!

    DEMO Schu-Tone Cavalier Chorus

I always can make more, just need the demand to be there :) I still have the stereo one around, the Cavalier Stereo (and yes, it did kill me to build something in a larger than 1590a enclosure :ROFLMAO:)

    DEMO Schu-Tone Cavalier Chorus

As always, you make my pedals sound a million times better than I ever could! And the funny thing is, you can use the exact same board and make it a stereo chorus as well... the original plan was to make this a stereo chorus in a 1590A (which it still could be if you only use it in stereo) :)

    Bring out yer Diptrace

I've been using the SMD service a bit lately. I am only using it to squeeze more into a 1590A :) It is a different way of thinking how to lay parts out, how to trace around them, but its a fun way to think differently on how to solve the puzzle.

Luna Obscura (Dark Side of the Moon Pedal)

A little of all three. I've found that the SMD PT2399's have been a little more consistent than the through hole versions. And when you cram a lot of parts in a small space, the smaller the better (and saving a little bit on cost doesn't hurt either)!

Question about combining two pedals with an effects loop between the two.

Switched jacks are the way to go on both the send and return. Have the output of the first effect go to the tip of the Send jack, wire the switch to the switch of the return. Tip of the Return jack goes to the input of the second effect and you are good to go! When nothing is in the loop...

Luna Obscura (Dark Side of the Moon Pedal)

I use a EA2-5NU non-latching relay for my relay bypass. Its using a microcontroller, on a code that I've been working on for a few years (I took a lot of inspiration from the CODA Effects relay bypass). The IC's are SMD PT2399's. For the 4 heads, there needs to be 4 different PT2399's.

Luna Obscura (Dark Side of the Moon Pedal)

Here is the last build of 2022 for me. This is a continuation of my artist-pedalboard-in-a-box series (See Gypsy and Kashmir builds for the other ones). This time I put together a build based on David Gilmour's Dark Side of the Moon pedals. For the majority of Dark Side tones, Gilmour used a...

    Schu-Tone Kashmir

(EDIT: Dummy.... I See I put this in the wrong place...) (EDIT 2: Thanks Robert for moving it to the right place) The "Chasing Jimmy Page Tone" thread in the breakroom got me over the line to finish this guy up. Much like my Gypsy build from earlier this fall, the Kashmir is an all-in-one...
