    Budget Baritones and Tariffs

That would be way easier. I think that's an option for sellers, and there are companies/ products where that's being done, but as far as I can tell from adding guitars to carts, doesn't seem like the case on the stuff I've looked at. I played a friend's squier tele baritone yesterday and really...

    Budget Baritones and Tariffs

I've been shopping cheap(ish) baritones semi seriously, and one of the cool looking options is this Jet model...

Helios Fuzz (Sandspur) or a very procrastinated build ...

That’s awesome! I used to do some metalworking stuff with my local makerspace. They asked me recently about doing some more of that, but I’d way rather do something with pedals. On the off chance that comes together I’ll definitely hit you up for some more details!

    Turret Rat build. LM308

Beautiful! That would be worthy of a lexan lid-mount ala this build from @owlexifry https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/tagboard-ce-2-chorus.19240/#post-237833

    DEMO Polyphemus [One Knob Overdrive]

I was skeptical you could hold my attention for 7 minutes demoing a one knob boost, but you did it. That’s a cool range of sounds!

    Fulfilling a project BOM

I get everything I can from Tayda. If Tayda doesn't have it I move on to Stompbox parts, SmallBear, Amplified Parts in roughly that order. Digikey/ mouser are my last resort. I haven't seen anyone argue that Tayda isn't still the cheapest game in town even in the age of tariffs.

Anyone got a starter kit they have used and liked, not music related per se

I bought an arduino starter kit like 12 years ago. Haven’t touched it! 🤣 I haven’t looked at any of that stuff in a while bit I remember adafruit.com having some cool approachable looking projects.

Turns out I didn't. Someone else beat me to the DM button! :ROFLMAO: Probably for the best. I'm already up to my eyeballs in pcbs over here.

I don't know that much about these - I see some marked V1, or deluxe... Are you thinking this one Phil's got isn't the one you're looking for? I was/ am ready to scoop these up on a whim, but I see you've made some posts about these - If this is a rare thing you've been searching for, you...

The Sonomatic looks cool! I'd probably be interested in taking all of them off your hands, but I don't want to jump the line if other folks have been looking for these. @cooder - Are you still looking for a Purple Chorus pcb? If someone else beat me to the DMs that's cool too :ROFLMAO:

    Enclosure grounding

I stand corrected! I do all my own drilling, so I wasn't aware. Taking some steps to remove powder for grounding in that case makes sense to me. I'd still bet that's not the problem with the OP's noisy FF build though...

    Enclosure grounding

A lot of people do that, and it can't hurt, but I've never done it. The inner diameter of a drilled hole definitely has no paint on it, and by my way of thinking, there's likely enough thread contact somewhere to ground to the enclosure. If you have a meter, you could verify by setting it for...
