Octagon is just an Arachnid board with an EEPROM. Arachnid has no EEPROM included, so you'd have to order one of the existing ones, or get the custom one (or create your own programs).

I don't have a lot of flanger experience, but building the effectslayout pocket comb (based on Ibanez FL9) was very satisfying.

This is the one I have, and it is good for me. I like the tone and level controls because I can filter out some of the highs for a deeper sounding chorus and make it pretty subtle. I haven't built a chorus yet, but I have a Sea Horse PCB waiting to be built.

it will depend on the circuit and the role of the cap in that circuit to know how important it is, but you can definitely add capacitors in parallel to get the value you need.

I was going to say translation software. An AI wouldn't have attached a hand drawn diagram or photos of their ppcb build. Could it be a malfunctioning volume pot?

Mosfet driver is an IC gain stage pushing 2 SHO boosts. A Cattle driver is a soft-clipping IC arrangement. I would characterize them as different takes as you did.
