What about lead free solder and lead free HASL pads? Heretic? I used around 300gr lead free solder during the past years and it’s fine :) Lead free pads are more expensive so I get them with lead in the orders of JLCPCB

Everything that is not conductive will do. Clearcoating it would be best if you want to keep the look. Or do it like it should be done with every other electrical appliance and turn the power off before handling power cables ;-)
