I've been wondering this and it seems like a good time to ask. What does the C-Buffer do?

I'm sure its one of the obvious things but did you check IC4? I had a bad one and only got a clean signal when I turned it on. After swapping it out, it works perfect and sounds exactly like the demos of the original.

I want to say its C22. Hoping that's right because I'm about to start this one up.

I use a couple of these bins from Amazon.

Just finished this one up. Really weird pedal and not sure how I would realistically use it but definitely fun for replicating humpback whale sounds! Really fine tuning the knobs, you can get a cool pitchy reverb sound. Credit to K Pedals for mentioning these connectors in another thread. Game...

Has anyone had problems with the mini board? I have both and after seeing all of the difficulties that people seem to be having with the original, I think I'm going to try out the mini board first. Haven't seen any troubleshooting posts on that one yet.

Awesome. Thanks for that picture. I could definitely live with but may try drilling it out or seeing if one of the smaller jacks that I use fits. But do you need the 3 prongs on the jack to wire it to the board or could I wire one like this to the board? https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/dcjack1/

I think I’ll give the Smallbear one a try, since I know it will fit. Assuming the DC jack works with it. But I do like the look of the BYOC one better. Maybe I’ll get them both! I’ll post the completed one once I’ve had a chance to put it together.

Ok. Thanks. Wishful thinking. I just like the smaller footprint idea, though I've never actually played with a mini one.

Has anyone built one of the wah pcbs into a mini wah pedal enclosure? Any idea if this is possible with the TearJerker and any places to sources the mini enclosures?

Thanks for this recommendation. I’ve been using random solder suckers that worked well enough but saw this and decided to try it out. Used it tonight and it’s easily the best one I’ve used. Really good quality. Thanks!

Unrelated to the original post but since you mentioned it, I assume you could also use resistor leads when wiring a 3PDT breakout board to a PCB or anywhere else a short wire is needed? I hate cutting and stripping tiny lengths of wire and always have tons of resistor leads around.

I completely agree and think that every time I am assembling but have just gotten used to using the ones you linked. But I would love to know if anyone sells a small external nut power jack.
