Testing Potentiometers for Log or Linear

I built the VHS recently and while I like the sounds I'm able to get out of it, it feels like most of the adjustments on the pots is either in the first quarter turn or the last quarter which made me think that i might have put A100K pots in instead of B100K. On the volume pot, i don't notice...

    Informant Overdrive

Just finished this up. Great sounding pedal so far with a nice range in tone. Solid PCB layout easily fitted into a 1590b. I went with the true-bypass wiring.

    VHS LED question

Thanks for the reply and that makes sense, re: knowing what to expect. Definitely doesn't bother me enough to risk ruining the PCB. I most likely would. My skill set has only now gotten to the point where my pedals work as they should the first time they're plugged it in, with little or/no...

    VHS LED question

I just completed the VHS and noticed that when the pedal is plugged in to power, even if the footswitch hasn't been engaged, the LED lights representing each control will light up, if the DPDT switches are in the active position. The question is, is there anyway to leave the DPDT switches in the...

Fitting two PCB's within an 1590BB

For sizing reference, here is one I did in a 1590BB with two smaller pcbs. Those are both 1.95in wide. Might get tight but it would probably work. And definitely go with the BBS.

    Arkaim Fuzz footswitch wiring?

Great, thanks! Yeah, that is what I meant. Probably should have just drawn the jacks in too to avoid confusion. Thanks for confirming though!

    Arkaim Fuzz footswitch wiring?

So based on the comments above, would this be the correct wiring for the Arkaim?

Combining two effects in one enclosure

Not sure if this belongs here or in general questions but I am taking a stab at trying to combine the Starboard Fuzz and CrackleJack in one enclosure so that they can be used independently or in tandem from one power supply. Using the breakout boards for the footswitches, would the wiring in the...

That looks great! Do you have shot of the wiring? I finally got all the components to get started but I'm relatively new to this (only a handful of kit builds) so having a visual helps! Also, any chance you have a drilling template? Thanks!
