Help with LFO ticking (Karaoke Chorus)

I'm going to suggest trying a TL022 for the LFO opamp, the Cepheid (CE-2) Chorus uses it to keep the LFO in check.

WIP Amp build - Deliverance 60 made 2 channels

Cool, I had the insane idea to have an fx loop for each channel so I could tailor my pedal choice for the best results. I would have to sit down and figure out the logistics.

WIP Amp build - Deliverance 60 made 2 channels

Is the FX loop a separate PCB?

WIP Amp build - Deliverance 60 made 2 channels

If you ever do a V2 with the clean channel I would definitely pay for the gerbers and enclosure specs. This build is an excellent example of keep it simple.

    Old Fashioned (Skreddy/Animals Major Overdrive)

Radical, it looks like Mouser has the IRFU5305 for $1.28, half that if I decide to get 10 at once. I really appreciate the info man.

    Old Fashioned (Skreddy/Animals Major Overdrive)

@MattG What MOSFET did you end up using? I keep getting conflicting info about BS250P and IRF9540.

    Old Fashioned (Skreddy/Animals Major Overdrive)

Hey man that's a pretty clean build. Is the polarity protection and electrical bypass proprietary?

    Cepheid Chorus Stereo?

I can whip something up when I'm home later as I'm in the planning stages of doing this and adding a CE-1 preamp to make a psuedo CE-1.5 Chorus Ensemble.

Tactician : A bass-centric crossover and DI based on 80s Peavey circuits

Awesome project man. Can I ask where you got your 4741 IC?

    Aldrin Fuzz pcb discrepancies?

Left most transistor is begging for a socket now. What made you decide on silver mica caps for that section?

    Aldrin Fuzz pcb discrepancies?

C2 isn't in the direct audio path so an electrolytic should be fine, if you don't think it is right you can change it out for a tantalum. Hell it looks like you have enough room on the board to fit a current production film capacitor there if it floats your boat.

    SOLVED Magnetron Unity Gain Issue

I am marking this solved as I did a second resistor check for my sanity. Lo and behold R6, at 2.7K instead of 10K like in the build docs.

This Week on the Breadboard: Windmill (WIIO) cb mod

You could make the Gear toggle switch a footswitch to have a pseudo 2 channel pedal, using the FB loop on as CH1 and FB loop off as CH2. Almost like Crunch and Distortion on actual amps.

Sanity check on my perfboard voltage doubler

Looks good to me, I did the same thing to make a phantom power amp interface for my bass with active electronics. Here is my stripboard layout if you want to compare, I did put an 18V zener diode at the end as overkill.

Trouble when biasing the JFETS on Mofeta Preamp

Of course man, most of the time it's the little things that make us want to pull our hair out over a project.

Trouble when biasing the JFETS on Mofeta Preamp

Did you confirm pinout direction on your JFETs? And make sure the solder joints aren't cold joints.

Muzzle with sidechain and 3-pin mono jack?

What does the pinout on your jacks look like? Generally non-switched jacks are 2 pin mono and 3 pin stereo. If you have mono jacks with 3 pins you either have a switched tip or a shunt to ground, of which you don't use the shunt to ground on this build. If you have to buy new jacks I...

SOLVED Aion Draco (Dr Boogie) JFET Bias

Would that impact layout or size in any meaningful way? I like that I can squeeze your smaller boards in a 1590B.
