I like phasers... XC phaser sound really good i think it will replace the Enterprise in live gigs. Just one thing, when I change from block to script or 90 to 45 it gives off tremendous pop sound. Duo phase and Master phaser are just as great but I prefer them in the studio.

@erwinsoundsystem @Diynot i have just build a master phaser and it sound very good, one question, i can't figure out how the switch is set to 5stages or 6stages. Personally I like the upper position of the switch, the down position cut off a lot of bass freq.

It's possible to take algo directly from Eeprom and maybe reverse engineering it just to study or mod some "famous" algo? For example the wet reverb algo from neunaber. update I opened the pedal (neunaber slate) and it is difficult to remove the eeprom without causing damage.
