Yes, actually, they are very distinct. The Diamond Peak is much more transparent and open/raw sounding than the Major. It can also get into fuzz with bass control and gain dimed. It has a wider range of tone and gain. The Major is very Marshally--amp-like, pushed mids, compression, big rawk...

I can check for you when I get home. I think there might be some info on it from Robert if you sift through the forum. There definitely is about the switching jack, but it's useless because you need a special expression pedal. With a dual gang pot, I believe.

How'd you stuff it in there? you flattened/clipped the pot tines, and ran leads to the gain and vol pots with dustcovers? I don't see the effect out cut.

I don't know if it will meet the standards of owlexifry tite chugginess! You can definitely get higher-gain marshall tones and pull out some squealies, but it's less dry than say a Revv3. Maybe boosted? Haven't tried yet. In any case, it's a pretty low parts pedal and not particularly hard...

Well, I think my build is a pretty solid pedal, and I would guess captain squealies AKA @owlexifry would like it. It's kind of like a marshall-in-a-box, but it maybe doesn't have the obvious gain range as, say, the Skreddy Major OD or the Colombo Plexi Breed. It really skews pretty quickly...

Good to know. I find the bass control a bit mild in my breadboard of the Major OD, so no doubt I've made yet another error in the breadboard.
