I’ve always wondered what this pedal is exactly. Appears to be an original design but I’m no expert in interpreting schematics.

What types of tubes are you looking for? I’ve a good bit of mainly small signal tubes not usually seen in amps that I have no use for.

Not everyone has the necessary equipment to make something like that. Hell I don’t even have a computer other than my phone lol!

Grounded via the enclosure the jack has teeth in it. I could run an extra ground wire but I don’t think that’ll make a difference.

I think I actually meant the level. Top left as viewing from outside the pedal but I’ll have to confirm it tonight. The 100n HAS been replaced with the correct 1uf value. I’ll look into building an audio probe and how to use it as well Thanks for the help thus far

They’re supposed to be there. The led is on the daughter board. The leds are soldered on there you just can’t really see it on the pics.

Talking about something like this? I’ll reflow the pots and double check the values. It’s probably staring me in the face. I don’t see where the led is shorted. I’m not having any issues with the led. Appreciate the help!

So I finished this up and I’m getting below unity gain with all knobs maxed. Seems like the only know that does anything is the Drive, top left knob, while the others don’t seem to do anything. At first I accidentally had a 100n C5 (1uf) location. Thinking that was the solution I replaced it but...

I plan to eventually. Same with the HAO Rust Driver.

I’m mostly consider about the drill template. If it’s the same as your typical ppcb spacing then I’m good.

Thanks! Well I have a tendancy to fit transistors and sockets in places they aren’t supposed to go because I don’t know any better lol. Take these sockets for instance. I just bent the legs inwards. There’s a socket under the Russian transistor but you can’t see it.

Finished this one up tonight. Pretty straight forward build and good sounding od. Very creamy with gobs of sustain. I figured it may have more gain though. I used the highest hfe (100) NPN Germanium I had which was an ASY29. Also has low leakage. For diodes just some old 1N34A the build report...

I haven’t gotten a chance to build this yet but the new-ish Marshall 59 also has separate high and low gain channels in parallel except use dual op-amps. I wonder if Marshall got the idea from the Plexi Breed. I find the Article 59 to have too much low end though. It’d be nice if Marshall...
