    Dark Rift Repeats distorting... Sometimes

The dry signal comes through fine, so I suspect it's clipping one of the op amps after the pt2399 somehow.

    Dark Rift Repeats distorting... Sometimes

I unfortunately don't have the pedal anymore, the dude I sold it to does but he said the only thing that changed it was his neck VS bridge. The amount of distortion he's getting is way more than what comes from a pt2399 though, it was pretty absurd lol he sent me a short video that's too big to...

    Dark Rift Repeats distorting... Sometimes

I just built a friend a Dark Rift Delay. I tested it extensively with both a strat and SG, no issues whatsoever (he tested it at my house with the SG too, so he knows it works properly). He took it home, and if he uses the neck pickup on either his PRS or LTD, the repeats distort quite badly...

    Tonevendor MKII no signal

So I came home from work and just wired everything up including all of the jacks (the benefit to using the headers for the switch and 9V supply) and it works great. Now I need to see if I have an issue with the 3pdt on my Auditorium...

    Tonevendor MKII no signal

I'll get the transistor voltages when I get back home from work and post em. Looking at the build doc on my lunch break, the resistors appear to all be the correct values, so I don't think that's the problem

    Tonevendor MKII no signal

Gonna have to go back and check all the resistors, see if I somehow misplaced one or if values migrated in my drawers, occasionally that happens lol

    Tonevendor MKII no signal

Yeah this makes sense, the supply voltage is all that changes. I have no idea what to make of this lol

    Tonevendor MKII no signal

I have signal in bypass, LED power, and voltages on all transistors appear to be correct

    Tonevendor MKII no signal

I guess the power ground reference never actually changes now that I think about it, the LED runs off negative ground too. Might as well wire up some jacks and see if that's the issue lol

    Tonevendor MKII no signal

The PedalPCB test rig (Auditorium). That's why I'm curious, since this uses the charge pump to get positive ground, I'm wondering if it won't work with the Auditorium (not sure if the jacks get their ground referenced to the PCB ground when not in bypass or if it always stays at the incoming...

    Tonevendor MKII no signal

I cannot for the life of me figure out why, but I built a Tonevendor MKII and have no effect signal (using PedalPCB test rig). I have signal in bypass, LED power, and voltages on all transistors appear to be correct. Is there any reason the test rig doesn't work when using charge pumps to switch...

    Octanaut Transformers

Yeah, that was what I'd seen too. I put in a request for an email when available, I may call them to see what their confidence level is regarding the date though lol

    Octanaut Transformers

Coming to check to see if anyone knows of a source for these now? I'm in the US but willing to pay international shipping depending on cost. BitBox is out of stock. ABRA says they have them in stock, but I was then told that they don't. Thanks!

    My electrovibe build

This is super clean! I typically do waterslide for the graphics, but this looks nice enough that I might have to go this route. As a side note - what lamp did you use for this? The build doc isn't up yet, it's the only part I'm still missing to complete this lol

    ADHD sounds dark

The tone control is a little strange on this - it's not a traditional high pass or low pass filter. It might be worth socketing the cap and resistor and playing around. The actual easiest thing, now that I look at it, is probably to swap in a smaller cap for C9. Another option is to put a...

    ADHD sounds dark

The easiest thing to do would be replace C8 with a larger value (will send lower frequencies to ground). You can also remove and jumper R14 (this will drop the overall resistance to ground, would probably give a slightly more usable range on the tone pot. You can also try both of these things in...

    Voltages on Duocast

Yeah I looked at the schematic a little more and came to the same conclusion lol I ended up just pulling the caps and replacing them

    Voltages on Duocast

I just ended up buying the 35V caps and replacing them lol. Haven't put the pots in yet, still need to drill the enclosure it get them fitted properly

    Voltages on Duocast

Made the mistake of building a Duocast board without reading the build docs, most of the electrolytic caps I used are only rated at 25V. I've built a ton of pedals, but typically they don't go over 18V so I've actually never run into this issue - how sketchy is it to leave the 25V caps? If I'm...
