    Yamaha OD10-MII (Sheepy Love OD87)

This is yet another obscure circuit that didn't get as much love as it should have. @szukalski is naming all his overdrives based on the year it was released. So this one came out in 1987. The original had a couple of extra IC's. One was for Yamaha's switching schema, which has been dropped...

    Cyborg Drive (Ibanez CD5)

So back to older, obscure circuits, which I usually LOVE more than the "homogenized" sound of newer circuits, this is the Ibanez CD5 Distortion from their brief toy-like "Soundtank" series. Some of which were actually pretty cool circuits. The Cyborg is definitely one of the cool ones...

This week on the Breadboard: The Emerald Green Overdrive

I just built this circuit on @szukalski 's "Tunbridge" board that he ginned up for @HamishR. What's hilarious is that Dave had already made a version of this board called the "Cladair". (Check post #15 of this thread) I think we're whipping poor Dave too hard, he's cranking out PCB layouts...

    Golden Falk (Colombo Plexi Breed)

    I did not re-bias it.

This Week on the Breadboard: The Electro-Harmonix Big Muff 2

You should try the Anvil Fuzz (MojoHandFX Iron Bell). It's marketed as a "Gilmour in a box" but I'm not getting that. But still it's a neat Muff variation.

    Mahayana IC

Congrats on getting it done! The Zen drive is one of the lowest parts count builds out there. But at its heart it's still a Tubescreamer, albeit with a variation on the clipping. There's not much you can do about the noise floor. It's inherent in the circuit. Some overdrives are just like that...

TUTORIAL Basic fret level, crown & polish made easy (picture heavy)

I'm so glad it was helpful. When I read my tutorial I'm like "Who the F*** wrote this and what was he smoking??" :p

This Week on the Breadboard: The LPD Sixty8 (with some mods)

Just got this email this morning from LPD. Looks cool.

Fumble Boost aka BBC-1 aka Notadümblë Clean Channel.

Have you tried the Modus Operandi? (Jackson Audio Amp Mode). It's been my longtime favorite. Extremely well voiced SHO variant for guitar. At unity gain it just makes everything after it sound better. Bump up the gain to drive another pedal or an amp. And here's another interesting one from...

This Week on the Breadboard: The Quicklime Girl

    It is indeed insanely loud.

    AionFX StrayLight (Univox Univibe)

You notice I used Poly 1u caps everywhere except the spots I absolutely HAD to use the WIMA's.

Animal Pedals Diamond Peak wCBD mods (Sheepy Love Desert Bighorn)

Interesting, isn't the 2N5172 the same NPN's in the Major Overdrive? (I just posted a build report of my Major OD build)

Update: Animal Pedals Major Overdrive (Sheepy Love Old Fashioned)

Another Animal Pedals build report. Shout out to @HamishR for bringing this one into the fold. See his build report here. Another Marc Ahlfs and Animal Pedal collab. And another tweaked familiar circuit in the same family as the Diamond Peak, Hybrid Fuzz Driver and Lunar Module. This sounds...

Animal Pedals Diamond Peak wCBD mods (Sheepy Love Desert Bighorn)

The is the second of the Animal Pedals "Diamond Peak" that I've built. The first one was using one of @MattG 's boards. (Build report here). I really should have spent more time in that demo on the Diamond Peak. It's been my staple goto "fuzzy overdrive" and such a great sounding pedal! For...

    Phase 90 (MBP Nom Nom)

Awesome build! I'm digging the "simplicity" of the aesthetic, but you've got a ways to go yet to reach MY level of "simplicity' young Padawan. :ROFLMAO: I'm really posting to add my shout out to @Guardians of the analog for sourcing these PCB's for us. Definitely dig this version more than the...

    Six band equalizer potentiometer style

Me three, i used to use the machined dip sockets. But then, i think it was @Betty Wont who mentioned something about a square peg in a round hole and it was like a total “duhhh” moment for me. I’ve been using the leaf spring sockets ever since. As long as your careful about not folding a leg...

    PedalPCB Maximum Drive (Maxon OD-01)

There’s something wrong with your build. This pedal has PLENTY of output in both toggle positions. It might be something as simple as a wrong resistor or cap. Before putting a boost in it, I’d recommend tracking down the root problem.
