Continued applause from me on principle for your 1590A work. Maddening stuff. For what it's worth, 9mm pots also help save precious mm of space...albeit their leg spacing means they always have to be wired offboard.

Love the graphics, and I think you might be the first builder I've seen since joining the forums to pull off a three-resistor tenting! I also agree with @Erik S -- the crinkle is fitting with the natural wear of the source material of the tape packaging.

Pardon my inexperience, but how would I test that? I bought the relay and board well over a year ago, so I guess I just assumed the compatibility. If I have to start over I'm happy to order some fresh Kemet relays + IRB boards + EEPROMs from Robert but I'm hoping I can maybe salvage one of the...

I can reflow them some more, but the LED is working as it should (both momentary and latching) so I'd assume that means the input of the footswitch is being detected properly? I've also trimmed down the extraneous wire at the In, +, - and Out solder points too.

Bump! I swapped in a fresh EEPROM, reflowed the solder on both ends of the Switch and Ground connections of the daughter and main board, but the issue persists.

Yes. I do this and love the increased headroom/volume. A rule of thumb I operate by for 18v is to ensure the caps are rated for at least twice that, so there's a lot of 50v and up in my builds regardless.
