This isn't necessarily for Arduino, I'm actually working on an esp32 project. But there are SO many display options. Questions to consider: Difference between LCD, OLED, TFT, etc. Many are touch, some aren't. Some have integrated processors (esp32), most don't. Lots of different sizes...

I'm working on a guitar tuner pedal using ESP32 (built in OLED). The OLED (in Red below) will protrude through the top, but there are no pots to mount to. So I'm wondering if there are other ways fasten a circuit board to an enclosure. Off the cuff I was going to drill some holes in the (green)...

Also, I changed the RLED's (R52, R53) from 10k to 1k. Normally RLED's default to 5k or 4k7. But for illuminated LED switches, I have found something between 500-1k5 work best. Test them on the bench first or socket them.

Recently built this. I used the original Tayda drill template but it was tight at the bottom and didn't allow for the use of Illuminated LED switches. So I modified the template as listed in the Templates area. Now it allows for Illuminated LED's. I *love* the breakout boards for those. I used...

The 2 sockets are RLED for the illuminated switches, isn’t in the signal chain. But I’ll check the other LEDS.👍

I built one to the above template, but it's very tight at the bottom. Normal 3PDT switches barely work, but Illuminated LED switches don't. So I tweaked the dimensions upwards (4mm I think) and it work much better. Tayda Drill Template for Acetylene

Just finished the Acetylene, Wampler Ace30, 30 Something. The bypass does nothing... but the boost works?!? Looking at the schematic, I can't figure out where the boost portion connects to the rest of the cirucuit. Suggestions?

Then decided to mod a few things: Socketed the 1k CLR, put in a 560R to increase led brightness. Swapped in a 400v 10u Reinstalled the 560R (R6) sticking up making it easier to tweak and soldered a 2k in parallel=438R. Increased B+ to 308v.

Finished this few days go. Stock values. 250v B+
