    Wrectifier rev 2.0 problem

input and output jack wires are both incorrect for both jacks and your power jack wiring is super sketchy... clean that up and youll be closer to a solid build..... Looks like you just need to build more pedals for solder practice... :p

PedalPCB Ge Transistors for Harmonic Perc?

my bad... this build requires a PNP and an NPN... The MP38A may have some transistors in the gain range you need... just do a little research on the build and see what values of gain and leakage you need for Q1 & Q2

PedalPCB Ge Transistors for Harmonic Perc?

1T313V looks like it could possibly work.... would need to research your values a bit.... If you buy about a dozen you'll likely find a match that could work... but..... I've not built one myself and I've heard they kinda require a leaky transistor... which in this case russian transistors are...

    Where are people getting potentiometers?

same.... I'm a center leg tacker when I'm building out a pcb on the pcb holder... I do all my off board wiring stuff too with longer leads... Once it's in the box I reheat the center lug to relieve any stress on it then solder the other two legs in..

    VHS: no effects

Take voltage reading and report back of pins 1-8 on your tl072... your soldering does look a bit suspect on the tl072 and double check R2 to pin 3 on tl072... you may have answered yor own question if your getting signal up to R1 but nothing is amplified at pin1

    VHS: no effects

I would likely suspect your offboard wiring on your toggles? any reason you wired them instead of pcb mounting them? and are the switches On/On and not On/ON/On etc etc? I can see a few spots with suspect soldering

    Red Big Muff sounds bad

Well id rule your soldering out of the equation.. From what I can see it's freakin nice and not slathered with flux...

    SOLVED Neorocyton Preamp BOM question

I strongly suggest buying the j201 from pedalpcb already soldered on the adapter boards if your new..... use trimmed leads from resistors to solder to the adapters and pop into your board like a through hole component... search in the build reports or forum in general for that build and take a...

Silismile Fuzz problem (low volume/fuzz output)

If they are NPN germaniums it would work... Maybe...But... a few things come into play. Be mindful of the pinout of transistors that you want to pop in...The HFE/Gain of the transistor and it's leakage come into play..... R3 resistor and the trim pot may need to be adjusted to different values...

    How do you ship pedals?

Exactly what I ship individuals in... I ordered the big pack of same size box from amazon 4x6x3... I keep all the tayda packaging and use it to ship pedals...Anything bigger I use amazon boxes.... I 99% of the time use usps priority and fill out the postage online with their quick ship.. then I...

Mahayana Build Report… I do build pedals

My laser is a 20W diode... I had a 10W and it did just as good? Are you using lightburn? I can burn all the way through the powder coating down to bare metal no probs.... I generally run 1500-2100mm/m @ 90% power. sometimes I run a double pass... I did on this enclosure because this stuff is...

Silismile Fuzz problem (low volume/fuzz output)

Also.. is your led turning on and off with the switch? I cant see how you have your DC jack wired..

Silismile Fuzz problem (low volume/fuzz output)

no.. it's a little more complicated than that... pnp uses positive ground.. you would have to flip polarity on a few things What I can see is a possible short on your diagonal wire on the stomp switch.. and from the angle it almost looks like a potential bridge on your electrolytic cap in center...

Silismile Fuzz problem (low volume/fuzz output)

It's not impossible but pretty hard to find NPN germaniums.... My guess is you have your pinout for transistor legs installed wrong.. but honestly for us to help identify what other things you might have going is to read the sticky and post good pics of your build so we can catch whats going on.

pictures of your build? Your aware the silismile is NPN transistors correct?
