    Clusterfuzz / Figbuster

IIRC, it's 47R. The R5 might have been the component designation. Forrest designed the circuit and it's a banger. My one contribution was adding the two filter caps in the feedback path of the first two transistors. Everything else was him and it's still one of my favorite buzzes. The 8-bit...

    when to use mlcc capacitors

I'm team MLCC for all pF caps except the occasional silver mica. But, only C0G (NP0) type. I built one Klone years ago that used MLCC for all signal caps and it actually sounded really good, which proves I have zero taste.

    Positive Ground Circuit Redesign??

I think maybe you'd need to fiddle with the bias voltage to pin13 of the TDA1022? I'm not sure though.

EAGLE USERS...2026 IS HERE. WHAT TO DO?

You can find the installer for 7.7 online legally and you should be able to install and operate it under the freeware license AFAIK. There are restrictions on the max board size, though.

EAGLE USERS...2026 IS HERE. WHAT TO DO?

I'm still on 7.7. and I will probably never change. I can create any library part I need and work extremely fast in it. Plus, I paid for the license and it still works.

    What's on the workbench?

    Perfect!

    What's on the workbench?

If anyone knows an equivalent Mouser part# for that battery/spring part I would be grateful. Seems like I've tried a couple times to track one down.

Can someone help me with running two LEDs in a pedal?

Also life on the edge: no LEDs anywhere :)

    GPCB’s Univibe

Looks good and I love the wrap! The tip of that output jack, tho. Very close to DC ground :)

    What's on the workbench?

Fortunately I did not build this, but I sure did pay for it. Kind of a hectic 4 weeks.

    What's on the workbench?

Can you please stop being so gd productive? You're making, err, some of us look bad.

I did something I'm not proud of ....

Once in a while it's worth making a funky build compromise if it gets the job done.

Is my circuit ready to move on to breadboarding?

You can save a few parts by eliminating R5, R10, C8 and just connect R11 to the same reference voltage as R2. Also, R11 does not need to be so high in value. You already have a low impedance source from the output of U1. so, 220k for R11 is fine. You might have too much gain according to the...

Who makes a small Chorus or Flanger PCB?

I'll put in a good word for GuitarPCB. You might notice a similarity in the NostalgiTone series and my PCB layout style 😎 Plus, my website is way more frigging annoying than his.

Who makes a small Chorus or Flanger PCB?

It does not. Should be possible with 1/8W resistors and a 4-layer board but I chose not to go that route.

    Klon Woes

Good catch. That's it. I missed the pin names.

    Klon Woes

Something is wrong with VB bias voltage. Check the values of R29 and R30. Measure the voltage on the + end of C30. It should be around 4.5v.

Awesome. The FX loop is a solid call.

DEMO Madbean Honeydripper w/bias control for formant 1

All the formant filters seem to be spot on but that fuzz control is off. Maybe some contact cleaner on the the fuzz pot is needed,
