    Muzzle Classic

I grasp how they work, but I don't have the knowledge of if I change a component for another value how does that affect the circuit. This is my graphic on mine.

Looks good and love the graphic. I built one of each and like the classic better.

Crazy good deal on art and design apps

Might have to give it a try. Photoshop, GIMP, and what not always kick my ass.. Once I start learning, I end up not using it for a while and I forget what I learned.

    Pickup winding

The plate on the telecaster pickup is called an elevator plate. It's suppose to make it "brighter" and it also it's a ground. Here's Bill Lawrence explanation.

    Pickup winding

Winders have their own recipe, but in my opinion since I got into winding. The most sort after pickups are the ones that were slapped together by parts laying around without a specific recipe. That people reversed engineered, analyzed the material, etc., to duplicate that sort after "tone"...

    Delegate questions

I'm back ;) wasn't expecting to build another pedal as I have waaaaaaaaaay to many now. - How critical is the 500k dark? I have a some of LDR KE-10720 laying around. - Looking at the parts list. Is it safe to assume D1 and D2 is D6 and D7? That D5 is used with the LDR? - Is the LDR bent so...

    Pickup winding

I've been winding my own pickups for a while now. I have slowed down over the last 2 years, because I don't have enough guitars to put them into ;) . At one point 20% beewax was suggested, but that's changed. I pot my pickups with beeswax and paraffin...

    A Decent LCR/Inductance Meter?

I use mine to check my pickups after I wind them. When I tested them against a known value of my DiMarzio and my Seymour Duncan it was correct. When I first got into winding pickups I was told from other members of a pickup winding forum that I needed a LCR. I have this person PCB and haven't...

    engineers, would you trust this?

I own one and the "neutral" on the ac outlet really isn't neutral just a hole. Ooops yours don't have the neutral hole on the AC outlet. I use at a psu when I troubleshot my pedals.

    Looking for a new multimeter...

I have 3 DMM.. my Fluke 189, a Craftsman which is about 25 years old, and a LCR/DMM Made over seas. I will always purchase a Fluke just because I've been using them since the 80s and they have always been reliable. My Fluke if for work, my craftsman is for home, and my LCR/DMM is for when I...
