So I'm back at work troubleshooting: the bottom leg of C11 (I think leg 1) seems to be where the low volume issue starts. Would removing C11 and jumpering it be a good test to do? I don't have a spare 47n at the moment Edit: I went ahead and tried it; no change in volume

So I decorated the enclosure yesterday and sprayed it with clear coat just now: looks like I rushed things a bit. The paint kind of crinkled some, particularly where the hammered paint was thicker. I don't hate it, it's actually kind of cool, but it definitely looked better before I clear...

Yep! Rust-oleum hammered. Adhesion seems fine so far, but I guess we'll find out. I don't think I've used primer on any of my pedal builds though

Added a little more silver and painted the enclosure last night; I think it turned out pretty damn good! It's not totally cured/hardened yet, but that seems to be in line with the instructions on the can that says 24 hours as it's only been like 12

Tinted some of the hammered silver with artist's oil paints; prussian blue and a touch of viridian. The color turned out pretty good! Now to see how it dries/cures. I might add a little more silver to lighten it up a bit.

Built my first stripboard pedal, an Astrotone circuit with the Analgman specs with the layout from Dirtbox Layouts! For transistors I used a pair NOS 2N3565 from Small Bear that tested at about 212 and 260hFe. I tried a higher gain 2N3565 in Q2 and that gave a little more fuzz but was darker...

I was putting together a basic pedal tester/Beavis board-type thing when I realized that I had bought a pack of 2.5mm DC jacks instead of 2.1mm :mad::(:cautious: Are 2.5mm sockets useful for anything pedal related?
