    EQD Acapulco Gold: "Acapulco Goldfinch"

I agree- this is a great first build. I love the art and the colors. Drawing on pedals is awkward. I’m a southpaw too. I usually grab a raw enclosure to rest my palm on so it’s the same level as the surface of the enclosure I’m working on. It doesn’t make me a good artist 😆 but I screw up less.

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

A digital pedal workflow based on the daisyseed/Funbox. I have the Funbox repository loaded in a Jetbrains IDE, and added an agents file. The planet effects are used as context, and new effects are added alongside them. I describe what I want, it generates C++ code, then I run a build action...

    New Pedal Releases

Continuing the tangent- hopefully someone knows what I’m talking about. Maybe a few years back, I saw a video of a guitar demo dude that had his long hair all stuck straight up with product. Like the cylinder of a chef’s hat. But well over a foot above his head and bleached blonde. Freaking wild.

Same, first time I heard that explanation.

According to wikipedia, they say that the musical application of a vocoder is actually a voder, using only the decoding half. But voder sounds weird.

    Bazz Fuss

That to me is what makes up for having side jacks

Lots of great choices on that P2P

    MXR Talk box

So with a vocoder your sending a signal through a bunch of band-pass filters. With the talkbox, the tube has a speaker at the bottom and the sound goes into your mouth. Then you capture the sound coming out of your mouth with a microphone. Your guitar signal goes through your mouth!

Sounds like fun to me- access to a sophisticated physical filter that’s connected directly to your brain. Pink Floyd Pigs is probably the first thing I’d try.

    What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

I got tired wrapping and unwrapping cables. I built 2 junction boxes, with one iso channel for an amp switch. I stuck one on the amp with dual lock. So when I go somewhere with the larger board, I have one thing I carry to connect the two.
