    Any one agree he should unbox it.. run power to the board , bend pots up clear of the pcb and plug in the in and out jacks correctly to give it a gut check to make sure pots not touching something their not supposed to be?

    Electrical tape on the back of a pot is the first red flag..... do yourself a favor and get something more substantial behind the pot..... piece of thin plastic at least.. likely the cause of your issues but sounds like your clock section is not working as well.... Where did you source your BBD...

    You can drill your enclosure and use a standard 16mm pot .. just wire it to the pcb.... I build the exact pcb this way to have an external bias

    Only time I ever run into something that doesn't want to wick solder almost immediately it's either the back of a guitar pot or a tremolo claw. :ROFLMAO: .. and that only takes a few seconds of heat and then that solder starts moving beautifully... I'm running a standard conical tip on Hakko 951...
