Thanks! Those are the mini chicken heads from Smallbear and the smaller boss style knobs from Stomp Box, LMS and SB as well. The mini chicken heads are very cool as they they’re much smaller than the usual CH knob allowing many more options for application.

Yeah, very strange. The TL072’s I used on all three were from the same batch (presumably), as I ordered around 200 from TI.

Helped me tremendously on my 3rd XC build. First two were great, no issues with the TL072. For whatever reason I had a strong tick on 45 (I think it was 45). Took out the three TL072’s and threw in 3 LM358n’s and tick disappeared completely. Thanks again!!

Where did you get your 201’s?

If I remember correctly, you’re only biasing four out of the six(?) 201’s. I think the circuits pretty forgiving with somewhere between 4.5v-5.5v on the drain leg of each of the four -personal preference difference anyway.

I assumed it was meant to work in tandem with a driven amp or dirt pedal -to fatten up the tone. I didn’t realize that when I first tried it out into my clean channel and was very underwhelmed. Once I put a dirt pedal after the Bee it worked well.
