Looks like Synthcube stocks some Electric Druid stuff in the US:

The stated reason for the Portuguese PO not shipping to the US is the abrupt end of the De Minimus exemption for packages valued under $800. This is a separate issue from...
This is a really good video series on filter basics:

It’s from a synthesizer perspective, but it mostly all still applies to pedals.
He goes from passive filters all the way through to active resonant...
Radio Shack + Radio Shack employee who actually knows something about electronics = 🤯
They were always just trying to sell me an extended warranty for my rechargeable batteries, or towards the end there, a shitty cell phone plan.
I built the Graviton board (Aion’s HM-2) it calls for BAT-46’s and has the following note in the BOM:
“The HM-2 uses Ge diodes here, but Schottky is a better modern replacement. They only set the gate threshold and do not affect tone.”
It rocks that they’re marketing markers specifically for painting faces on rocks! 🤘;)
I’ve had good luck with the DecoColor brand of paint markers. Paint holds up well on metal, and the marker tips don’t dry up after a few weeks/months like others I’ve tried.
Huh, I tried using it for that very thing years ago when I did a few homebrew PCBs (a Fuzz Factory and a Slow Gear, which nobody sold boards for at that time).
I found that the press had too much play in it and I kept snapping those tiny bits. 😖
Ended up getting a pin vise and doing it all by...
On top of the tariffs, private shipping companies (UPS, DHL, FedEx) will also hit you with exorbitant and seemingly arbitrary “brokerage fees”.
Try to ensure that it’s USPS bringing your stuff into the country if you have any control over it.
Nobody doesn’t like flashing lights!
The other thing that would probably appeal to kids, and give them good visual feedback, is anything where you’re turning electricity into movement.
Any kind of projects with servo motors, actuators, and such like.
Then you can work your way up to building...
If you do end up using Mouser, learning to use their (extensive) search filters can save you from most of the ‘wrong size/wrong voltage/wrong package type’ stuff.
I also shop mostly Mouser. And I also generally buy stuff at the quantity of the first price break. Usually 25 for resistors, 10 for capacitors. It’s a good way to build up stocks.
