Well, they work but just not the way I thought they would. I was just surprised by the discovery. When I used them in builds, I would just assume I put them backward in the first place, and technically, it's true. Now I know better.

Going by the leads would be fine... but what with the plates ? Here are 2 red on the left and a green on the right. All have flat side on the left side... so they should all have the flat for the cathode, but the red ones really are reversed. I might just have to test them again.

Did you check continuity on both position on your footswitch ?

Measure everything, use shapes the size of your knobs (or knobs from a library) when making your design, you hide them in your final print. Make a few test prints on paper if needed to ensure right alignment.
