Off Board Wiring in Production Pedals??

Roll the legs with needle nose pliers and you have little eyelets. Or just clip them off.

    What's on the workbench?

Yes, the jacks and footswitch are all on the same PCB. These are the 9mm equivalent to long-pin pots.

The solved threads are usually the easiest.

    SOLVED Marigold help

I should probably either list a specific 1/2W part number, or increase the hole size and pad spacing a bit (more like the germanium beside it) to accommodate it better.

    SOLVED Marigold help

Don't tear one apart if you already have it working, I was just curious and looking for a common point of failure between the two. A defective trace from the factory isn't impossible of course, but it's rare, and the exact same defect on two boards is even more rare. Damaged traces seem to...

    What's on the workbench?

I've been wanting to rehouse my little capacitor meter for a while... it measures capacitors better than far more expensive meters, but it's plastic and feels like it could be crushed at any moment. (@benny_profane kinda likes to make fun of me about too) I cracked it open hoping that I could...

You'd probably have more output with LEDs instead of 5817's.
