Agreed. You might look into used Lexicon rack units, e.g., the MX200/300/400 are quite good (in my view) and work quite well in the amp's effects loop. There are ~16 different reverb models, and all are highly tweakable. 24-bit, 48kHz, with very good algorithms - which is what DIY can't...

Lucky you! I think those skinny 1µF Wima film caps may have gone EOL, so you may now have a precious stash. And of course, thanks again for another great build report!

Check out Appendix C of the DCA75 user guide to get the measurement values used by the DCA75 - this can often help you connect or extrapolate/interpolate DCA values with spec sheets for various transistors, etc. Note added: I can't append the user guide pdf here, seems that pdfs aren't accepted...

@djmiyta - Thanks very much for this, I didn't know about them previously. I bought several JAN Ge transistors and every single one of them had low leakage (20-50µA) and good hfe values.

Just a gentle reminder - the Shrapnel OD build doc (3/4/22) still lists D2 & D3 as 3mm blue LEDs, while the PCB says 5mm LEDs. Seeing the inconsistency, I pulled out my laptop & searched the Forum (and found this thread) to determine which was correct. So it would be nice to update the build doc...
