Anyone know where I could get a standard rackmount enclosure with no pre-drilling? I looked at McMaster Carr a long time ago but it wasn't cheap. I just checked parts express and Tayda, no luck on either. IK stompbox does not carry any. I am yet to check Small Bear and Antique Electronic Supply.

They aren't cheap that's for sure. I always see 10Meg quoted for uprights but I'd bet that is overkill.

Hm, quite the opposite of what I was thinking but it makes sense. Lo z lowers the q of the pickup. Granted that can come with its own territory. Lower it too much and lose highs. An impedance switch like studio preamps would be fun.

Looks cool! For distortion I've had success modelling DC transfer functions in spice then pairing it with FFTs for stepped levels. Granted it only shows relative changes between settings, not how they actually sound.

Found the issue. There was a dual channel dip switch modifying a portion of the wet path and a portion of the dry path. Crosstalk between wet and dry was happening inside the DIP switch.
