What a great looking amp!

I got a Taylor in that had a funky K&K 3 sensor install that I need to straighten out and it's my first exposure to the system. Pretty cool stuff but zilch for output so I can see the need for a belt pack before things get too noisy. Nice way to not have to carve up a guitar though.

I think on mine I followed the calibration doc to a point where I thought it didn’t really get the spirit of the amp and just dialed it in to a usable setting as a pedal. Does that make sense? If you’re using it as an effect pedal the calibration will be different than if you use it as a preamp.

It's a different way of thinking of compression too. On my original amp you can dime the master and with the compressor full up (full COUNTER clockwise) you can pretty much talk over the output. Back the compressor off a tad though and the amp starts to get seriously loud real quick. It...

I absolutely torched the smd pads on a J201 on the Median and ended up getting another board. I don't usually have issues but sometimes the damage is too much as it was in my case. Of course this doesn't help you at all but felt good to get it off my chest.

This is the coolest build I've seen in ages. It has a bit of an 80's/90's Dean Markley vibe going too and I think the hand lettered aspect looks WAY cooler than a faceplate. Well played!

Most versatile for me is the LectricFX Flintlock (A/DA). Crazy flexible without being fiddly. I'm a big fan of anything BF-2 based and my current fave is the recently completed HF-2. It's the best I have for very subtle stuff.

Aion Blue Shift is very cool. I've owned both an original CE-1 and a JC-120 and very much regret selling both. My goto, ironically, is the Line6 MM4. It does a useable version of the CE-1, Dimension D, and a DynoTronics Tri-Stereo. Nobody is going to believe you're using the real thing but...
