I did not. Thought I start with the A10k and lower the value with a resistor across the lugs if needed But 10k worked fine

As a follow up: I've tried both pedals with different power bricks and in a couple of different places in the house. Also where we rehearse. I did see mention of poor solder connections. I think my soldering is pretty good but... should I consider pulling the boards and re-hitting all solder points?

Building the SoulDrive. Robert mentioned using a B1M for the drive pot in one version and a B500k in another version. I've got A1M stamped on my board. Can I get some feedback on this? Also, I'm assuming that I need to use Red for the 2 clipping diodes. Is that correct?

The Beatle Juice fuzz. Love it but it's hard to find the sweet spot on my board since it goes from 0 to 10 right around 9 o'clock

Hey guys, fairly new builder here. Got a volume pot question. The volume really explodes at 9 o'clock so it's a bit difficult to dial in the volume. Any suggestions on how to get a more even taper?

Put a 10k resistor across the volume pot to lower it to a 5k. Worked great. Lot more control over the sweep instead of exploding at 9 o'clock.

I did mention the idea of using a 1k volume pot instead of a 10k based on Robert suggesting a C1k replacement on the... hmmm I can't remember which pedal (it was a fuzz pedal I'm sure) to give more travel as you turn up the volume, instead of it exploding at one end or the other. I'm not far...
