You’re on the right track. Laying out and modifying circuits helped me learn eagle and learn more about circuits. The more you learn this stuff, the easier it is to troubleshoot, also.

I have like 6 or 8 tube amps but I don’t have that one. And they’re all heavy except the Princeton.

Has anyone been able to compare the Bassman 59 RI and the Tonemaster? I want a Bassman but I don’t want the weight of it. does it sound like the RI? Videos are scarce right now.

Just as an FYI, 2 820r in parallel would give you 410r which is also acceptable and a little easier to calculate.🤣

First amp? Kit, in my opinion. Mojotone has great cabinets.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard, too. Being almost completely deaf and no longer being able to hear bass frequencies, I haven’t really experienced that, but I know it’s there.

Have you modded the tone stack yet? I keep thinking I’m going to, so it bypasses the Bassman style stack.

If you think you haven’t put enough on the surface, you have. It’s easy to use too much. I usually pour some down the middle and help it spread out with a tongue depressor looking over sized popsicle looking stick.
