This is my very first attempt at building on stripboard / Veroboard. Saw a YouTube video of a veroboard build and decided to give it a try.. It’s a super hard on boost wired for the buffer to be always on.. To my surprise it fired up on the first attempt.. Pretty tight quarters on the enclosure.

Sold the one I built for myself so I whooped up another with some light subs some have suggested here. Changed some cap values for warmer mod and increased the gain pot values. Have some unidentified glass case diodes I used that measured .72fv left side set up for high gain and right side setup...

If I wanted to put 2 of the stock diodes and the other side of switch a pair of germaniums on a dpdt on/on how would you wire it in? I just did a straight up build and put the two wires to middle two lugs of the switch to diode 3 on the pcb and did not populate diode 4... did i do something...

Whooped this up for a buddy. Did the BigMonk mods for boosting gain and slow/faster speeds.. Set my trimmers by eye and it was spot on… I’ve built so many of these I know what the bulb pulse should look like…

Quick build out and this is a great sounding OD… Has some meat behind it for sure! Had a happy accident with my under layer color… was meant to laser etch the top and blue lettering to show through… but i sprayed my topcoat a bit heavy and the sucker crackled on me… Looks pretty cool though…...

Yes! This is a great little overdrive.. Straight off the build docs and @MichaelW came in clutch sending me a goody package with some 1SS133 diodes and several other surprises.. Thanks brother. Kept it simple with the aesthetic and the is a no fuss build. Highly recommend..

I've never had any of this diode to build with.. Sources point to same as 1n914 but would like to see if any one has a DCA 75 to curve trace them @ 5ma?... Just so I know it's truly apples to apples.... I'm nerdy enough lately to curve trace everything I have in possession just so I can see...
