This is only my second real build. Next build I will try something a little more advanced, work on tightening up my wiring and try something more creative on the externals. Happy to have another working build regardless and really liking the simple yet versatile controls on this guy.

Please excuse some of the sloppy work here. This is my first proper build. I used the Sparkfun prototyping pedal as my test setup. I f'd up the input pad on the breakout board and next time I will put more effort in getting the caps and resistors lookin' pretty but hey it works.

So I started working on the Crunch Captain and noticed I don't have the C-type 10k pot it requires. After a few searches I am having trouble tracking down that reverse pot type. Any suggestions?

I am wondering what general process people follow for troubleshooting. I have a failed build that seems to have a grounding problem. (I can make the signal kick in by touching the leg of one of the resistors, through my body to guitar strings, input ground etc.) I am obviously a newb here and...

This transistor is obsolete. Putting together my BOM on Digikey and looking for an alternate part. Any suggestions?
