Do any of the components in the pedal get hot? Does it exhibit the same behaviour if you take it out of the box and play a while?

I would start with the larger solder joints. All that are easily accessible. Especially these look quirky in the photo.

Not trying to be captain obvious here, but will reflowing the big solder joints help? The joints on the switch don't look too well, and there's little harm in making sure these joint are indeed connected.

Not only there, also on the screws of the terminals. You can never be too safe.

Have you tried to turn the "Tone" knob? This has an effect on the bass- and treble-only modes.

Your soldering looks great, so props there! Have you checked the footswitches on continuity in both positions? Also: there are no caps or bumpers on the pots, so please make sure there are no shorts between the board and the pots.
