Great video! Thanks for posting it. I've been doing it almost the same way, except I was trying to balance the jfet on top of the first blob, then pushing it down as the solder melted. The way you pushed into the melting solder from the side looks much nicer. I'll try that on the next one I do.

That crystal oscillator look a little different than the ones I usually see used. The part number looks pretty clear but I couldn’t find it. Is it 32.768 kHz?

Do you get sound through when the pedal is bypassed? Does the LED turn on? I’d look for something that went wrong with a wired connection first. Post some more pictures of the whole situation too.

I’ve never used that style jack, but I suspect you may have wired them incorrectly. I think both wires should be on the same side.

Just to be clear - I'm suggesting you experiment with getting more light to hit your LDR. The easiest way to do that is to point the light-sensing side of the LDR towards the LED. If you leave the leads long-ish you can have some adjustability in how you set the gap.

Resistors look good. I haven't built the moonshot, but on the Sproing Deluxe I found out there's a huge volume difference depending on how much light from the LED is hitting the LDR. The way you orient the parts has a big effect on that. Here's an example courtesy of @VanWhy of a more...
