Interesting. I feel like years ago I turned down (or up actually) the bass and treble knobs dramatically on my Timmy and it was pretty mid forward. There's also the Cast Iron which this forum generally agrees is a Timmy with a Mid control that you might try.

During the pandemic I took my carbon copy off the shelf and discovered it was dead. I sent it to MXR and they put a new board in it and didn’t even charge me what they said it would cost.

I took it out of the enclosure and input wire was sandwiched between the gain pot and the enclosure. See the smashed insulation. EDIT: I plugged it in out of the enclosure and have bypass and effect signals. However in effect the LED didn't light up and it doesn't seem to be acting the normal...
