Looks like it makes sure the pot case is grounded. The case usually makes contact with the metal enclosure when screwed into place, but you would want to make sure that the part of the enclosure touching the pot casing was bare metal and not painted.

probably depends in part on how hefty your standard pedal power supply is and what level of sound you want. a one spot that is running another low-draw pedal or two could give you enough to practice in a bedroom when you don't want to disturb others. this module runs better with a power...

now -- a Juno synth could push your Weber subwoofer to fail if someone was riding the lowest keys. Or using it in a home system for action movie soundtracks.

There won't be much action with a subwoofer for guitar or voice. Probably OK trying your Weber, and there is a chance you would not notice running the system with the weber in place but with the subwoofer turned off.

are you using this for instruments? or for home stereo? you could always try the Weber with that setup and replace it if/when you find out it is not able to do what you want or it self-destructs.

You can also use higher power reading glasses when soldering. 4X is good for me most of the time but I have a 6X pair that I use when troubleshooting something.

How large was your order? Asking in case there was a dollar threshold that may have triggered assessing the extra tariffs.

First thing, you might want to try putting a higher level signal into the pedal to see if you like the additional distortion you could get, but you still have plenty of ways to tweak the pedal to suit your ears. No reason not to dial down the trim on one or more of the pots if you are looking...

looks like the two boards are part of one larger fabricated board and they come as a set that includes the footswitch pcb too. that makes it unlikely there are any spare "singles" in inventory. but if you order a new board they you will have a spare for the other two boards. on a related...

thanks for sharing the video. the 3-in and 3-out PPCB boards would do the same thing, except that you can then have 3 channels in parallel to play with. and of course you can have more than one effect in line for each channels if you want to do so. Not as much mix-and-match craziness like...
