    Chauffeur OD/Daily Driver Zener selection

The zeners are in series in the Chauffeur, not the usual parallel arrangement. The clipping threshold is the zener voltage plus the forward voltage in both directions. It'll work, but it'll clip at a different voltage.

Double Muffin Fuzz-- Two Big Muffs in one box

Yep, BOMs are identical to the Muffin, just pick two variants and populate each side. A = Toggle Down B = Toggle Up 3 x B100K Dual Gang pots 1 x DPDT ON/ON toggle I'll try to get the doc posted later today.

    Where are people getting potentiometers?

They come out of the bag bent to hell and the position of the shaft relative to the PCB pads depends entirely on how well I manage to straighten the lugs out by hand. The lugs are flexible, you can shift them around by several millimeters in any direction without causing any visible bending...

    What's on the workbench?

When Mouser says reels they mean it. A bunch of BAT4x, 1N5817, BS170, a few other random things.

    Where are people getting potentiometers?

Is this not something that could be corrected by straightening the pots into a line after soldering? Have you seen how Analogman mounts the King of Tone? They'll bend without breaking.

What are the most rugged 1/4" jacks people are using?

    There were t-shirts too.

Double Muffin Fuzz-- Two Big Muffs in one box

Yes, it's a little more difficult, but it should be possible.

I miss it so badly. 😭

Double Muffin Fuzz-- Two Big Muffs in one box

Yeah I was planning to pull out the toggle to try running them in parallel with a single blend control. Since you mentioned splitting the tone control, it'd actually be cool to split all three controls.... Then you could mix with the volume controls as well.

    Where are people getting potentiometers?

    It's a tilt EQ.

    Where are people getting potentiometers?

Hmm... I'll have to go look, I mix and match them without any thought and haven't had any issues personally... Every now and then folks show up with those 16mm pots with slightly shorter legs, they're obviously a problem but I have no idea where they are coming from. I'm not exactly gentle...

Double Muffin Fuzz-- Two Big Muffs in one box

I built a Triangle / Mascis (and I believe that's a Rams Head) variant to test the PCB, just because the values looked different enough to not be subtle. It was not subtle. :ROFLMAO: The Mascis sounds neutered compared to the low end of the triangle.

    Where are people getting potentiometers?

I've seen that happen to folks but I can't explain why unless they're mixing 6mm and 6.35mm shafts.

Keystone 628 https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Keystone-Electronics/628?qs=TMDrOSIpnUcIXKaEACBScA%3D%3D https://www.pedalpcb.com/product/628/ @Bricksnbeatles is right, EQD is using the 629. The 628 takes up less PCB real estate:

Samarium C20 Value Mislabeled on PCB Silk Screen?

Yes, that's exactly what happened. This was corrected back in July but it looks like my first batch of boards with incorrect silkscreen didn't get trashed. You are correct, C20 should be 10uF, C21 should be 1uF.

Samarium C20 Value Mislabeled on PCB Silk Screen?

Interesting. Give me just a bit to see what's going on there.

How many do you need? I probably have a couple.

    PT2399 Sourcing

I have to wonder if it's sometimes not so much about the value of the part that is being faked, but just a way to get rid of some less desirable stock by passing it off as something more desirable. A quick pass on the laser and those dusty old NTSC decoders are flying off the shelves again...
